I am originally from Enfield, Nova Scotia but currently live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I received my Diploma of Engineering from St. Francis Xavier University in 2016. In 2019, I completed my Bachelor of Industrial Engineering (co-op program) at Dalhousie University. I am now wrapping up my Master of Applied Science degree, during which I have been working on a model to investigate optimal transport scenarios for ischemic stroke patients suspected of having a large vessel occlusion. I am passionate about improving systems that help people and plan to apply my knowledge of industrial engineering to improve the Nova Scotian healthcare system throughout my career.
Research Topic: Optimal Transport Scenario for Access to EVT with Consideration of Patient Outcomes and Cost
