Hello, my name is Ellie Langston and I am currently in the final year of my bachelor of medical sciences degree. After completing my honours thesis at H-COAL this year, I want to complete a master’s in pharmacology before, hopefully, going on to medical school. My research interests include drugs and behaviour, in addition to factors that influence accessibility to healthcare. This year, I will be working alongside other members of H-COAL on VISIT- Canada (Virtual Innovation for Stroke Investigation and Treatment), a study whose primary objective is to determine how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the outcomes and access to healthcare among stroke patients.
